The Fair and Ted Nugent Concert

Well now, the fair and Ted Nugent were so awesome they were hard to explain with just words, but I don't have a digital camera at the moment so I will have to explain all this anyway.

First off, we left about 3:00 PM to head on down to Escanaba and spent about two hours stuck in the car. When we got there we went and bought the tickets and Jake (my friend who hitched a ride with us) and I went off down the main part of the fair. After two buckets of fries and vinegar, a slice of pizza, a snocone, and a pop to top it off, we ran off to the gravitron and messed around for a while.

At 8:00 we met with my parents and we headed off to the Nuge concert and waited till the start. When we got there there were people sitting in our seats and we had to get security down there to fix the seat mix-up. Once we were seated we had to wait about ten minutes till he came on stage.

We sat about 20 rows back, but could see perfectly. The stage was set-up like thus: In the very back waved a very large American Flag, in front of it was the TedNugent.com sign. Next came the drum sets (there were two mind you) and they were on a whole bunch of sandbags. There was a display of a whole bunch of guns and on the front stage there was him and the bass guitarist. Of course, he sounded awesome and you know what, he is almost 65!

Well, anyway we got home around 1:00 AM and I fell asleep almost instantly. Now that you know what I did yesterday, I feel content to leave.

Salv out.
